What should we build next?

Pick the one you'd use first

We've built a proof of concept for each of these three ideas. Now we have to decide which one to focus on.

Concept of the Embedsy Portal as a mobile app: push notifications on the lock screen and a Power BI report in its phone layout

Proof of concept successfulMobile app with push notificationsThe portal already works on your phone. We would optimise it to work fully as an app, with push notifications when a report refreshes or a value crosses a limit, and reports that open in their phone layout with one tap.Vote for this

Concept of the Embedsy Portal showing a Databricks dashboard, with Power BI reports in the same menu

Proof of concept successfulDisplay Databricks DashboardsIf your users work with both Power BI and Databricks, they have to go to two places to see their reports. Databricks dashboards would sit in the same branded portal as your Power BI reports, so everything is in one place behind one login.Vote for this

Concept of a usage page in the Embedsy Portal admin: views per report, the most active users and reports nobody opened

Proof of concept successfulUsage analytics: who views which report, and how oftenToday you can't see which users open which reports, or which reports nobody opens at all. A usage page for admins would show views per report and per user over time, so you know what to improve and what to retire.Vote for this
